Why do we brush our teeth?
Since egg shells are similar to tooth enamel, we are using hard-boiled egg shells soaked for 7 days in various beverages to see if the acid weakens tooth enamel.

Was your prediction correct?
We found out that acid in food and drinks damages the enamel on our teeth. We brush our teeth to protect them. Water was the best drink as the egg showed no signs of damage.
We used toothpaste to remove the staines from the egg that had been in coke.
