We are learning our number bonds in maths monsters now!
Number bonds are pairs of numbers that when added together equal a given number. We encourage the children to recognise these number facts to help them with quick recall in maths problems.

What is to subtract?
To subtract means to take away from a group or a number of things.
When we subtract, the number of things in the group reduce or become less.
We are learning all about Tally Marks in Maths.
This is a way of keeping count by drawing marks. Once you reach 5 you need to draw a diagonal mark to draw a gate.
