Pupils will be taught English in explicit skills lessons throughout the term and they will apply new skills to Literacy work within their topic work and in independent hot writes, where they practise and demonstrate learnt skills. The focus for this term will be non-chronological reports. They will have online assessments set online on the Reading eggs websites which will need to be completed as homework. They can also use the oxford reading owl online to read e books. Please ask your child's teacher for logins if you have mislaid these. Pupils will develop their reading through individual reading in class as well as in guided reading sessions.

After half term, pupils will engage in various Eisteddfod activities to further utilise their LL and C skills, wih a focus on Welsh.
