Learning from Home Guidance
There are a wide range of websites your child could be using to enhance their learning whilst at home with yourselves. Reading Eggs, Mathletics and Mathseeds are perfect learning tools as teachers are able to set tasks for pupils to complete and view the progress pupils are making. As parents, you are also able to track their progress through maps and progress charts.
Each week your child will be set tasks for English, Maths and Topic work via their Reading Eggs, Mathseeds, Mathletics and J2E accounts. In addition to these, your child has access to Oxford Owl, Duolingo and TT Rockstars. Lots of fun and interactive ways of learning new skills.
Learning Conversations
The pupils are doing a fantastic job at working at home. There have been excellent examples of free writing, maths and topic work. Teachers love looking at your work and will use the 'Learning Conversation' icon on J2E to comment on your work twice a week. Don't worry if your work hasn't been marked straight away. Teachers will also be able to support you with your learning here, if you are finding anything too difficult or don't understand a task.
As parents, if you have any concerns, worries or need advice then we ask that you contact the school directly using the main school email address: cadle.primaryschool@swansea-edunet.gov.uk
