In Language Literacy and Communication this term the children will be learning how to write newspaper reports. They will be creating their own pieces of writing and creating reports which they will share in a 'Marketplace' session.
Pupils will need to bring their by reading folders into school either on their designated reading day or every day depending on their class. Weekly spellings will need to be learnt in order to do weekly spelling tests and homework will be sent home when it is relevant. Please support your child by listening to them read regularly and using the Oxford Reading Owl site as well as Reading Eggs and Reading Eggspress. Each child has a personal login to access these and also HWB accounts to make presentations or PowerPoints on Microsoft Office.
Websites such as 'Primary resources' and 'Top Marks' can be accessed to reinforce skills learnt in class.
