Dear Parents & Carers,
Welcome back!
We hope that you all enjoyed the Summer break. It's lovely to have the children back and settling well into their new classes.
Please ensure that your child comes to school on time everyday at 8.50am or use our Breakfast Club - arrive between 8.10-8.30am.
Please note that if it is raining as the children arrive at school, all of the Sapling pupils will enter through the Foundation yard doors.
In order for your child to be able to do their best they will need:
* a P.E. kit consisting of shorts, tracksuit bottoms, t-shirt and trainers. This needs to be put in a secure (named) bag that will be kept in school.
*a reading folder - your child will be given a letter informing you which day this needs to be in school. You will also need to date, sign and record a short comment in your child's Reading Record.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT ALL UNIFORM AND PE KIT ARE CLEARLY LABELLED SO THAT PUPILS DO NOT LOSE ITEMS - A PERMANENT MARKER PEN WORKS BEST!
Fruit money is £1.25 per week. If you wish to pay for this half term the cost is £8.75 (from Monday 9th September). Please can all money be placed in an envelope labelled with your child's name and class.
The lunch register is taken every morning and your child will have to choose what they want for lunch at this time. Please look at the lunch menu with your child the morning or night before.
Please could you also ensure that your contact details are up-to-date and that any medications are in school and are in date.
Pupils will be given spelling tests and homework as appropriate - further details to follow.We appreciate all of your help and support to make your children's learning as enjoyable as possible.
Please could you also ensure that you inform your child's class teacher if their pictures can or cannot go on Twitter/ Our Website.
