Creative Corner
Welcome to our creative learning space
We hope you will find ideas to inspire and challenge you to develop your own practice in class and at home and realise your full potential as an
Enterprising, Creative Contributor
to our school and wider community
At Cadle we believe the expressive arts should be accessible to everyone. Experiencing the expressive arts can help us to learn physically, socially and emotionally, nurturing our well-being, self-esteem and resilience. This can help us to become healthy, confident individuals, ready to lead fulfilling lives as valued members of society.
Experiencing the expressive arts can teach us to appreciate the creative work of other people. It can also inspire us to use our own talents, and develop our performance skills.
During 2020/21, we have spent lots of time at home, often with galleries, museums, theatres and cinemas closed. We have not been able to get together in our lunchtime and after school clubs because we are all staying safe in our ‘bubbles’
This section of the website will provide you, your class teachers’, mums and dads and friends of the school, like the Knitting Nanas, St Illtyds’ and St Peters’ Art groups with the opportunity to link up with some great resources, either at home or in your classroom. It will be a chance to explore, try out ideas and share your work with each other while thinking creatively and engaging your imagination and senses. Don’t forget that although lots of places are closed, being outdoors in nature is also a great way to learn how to look, listen and appreciate the beauty that is all around us.
If you have something you would like to share in our gallery or a link to something creative that excites you please send me a message at this address TuckerL23@hwbcymru.net; I will get back to you as soon as possible. Let us put all the new skills that 2020/21 has taught us to good use and make our ‘Creative Corner’ an exciting space to learn together.
