  • Notice from LA

    Fri 28 Mar 2025

    Further to previous correspondence, please be advised that following a period of Statutory Notice, the proposal to redesignate 25 STFs, change the specialism of 3 STFs, expand 4 existing STFs and close 5 STFs in Swansea with a phased implementation commencing in September 2025 was approved by Cabinet on 20 March 2025.

     

    A letter formally notifying consultees of the decision is attached for your information.

  • Number Day 2025

    We have enjoyed a really good week in Cadle this week culminating in our epic times table rock star day today. The children and staff all looked fantastic and showed off some amazing maths skills during the day. We hope that TT rockstars will be an amazing tool to help develop maths across the school. A big thank you to all of the staff involved in organising such a fantastic day!

  • Free ALN Events

    Fri 07 Feb 2025

    During February Half Term, Exchange Counselling are running free events on 'Self-Regulation' and 'Self-Esteem and Confidence Building' for children with ALN.  They are also offering free Neurodiversity Workshops for parents/carers.  Please see the posters for more information.

  • Cross Country Success

    A huge congratulations to Mollie, one of our Year 6 pupils who is now a Welsh Champion. We are so proud to share that our pupil has collected a gold medal after taking part in the Year 5 & 6 Welsh Athletics Cross Country Championship on the weekend. We are extremely proud!

  • Swansea Council Time to Talk

    Are you a parent/carer of child attending school and living in Swansea? Do you have concerns about the development of your child’s communication and interaction skills? Swansea Local Authority Additional Learning Needs Inclusion Team are offering you the opportunity to meet with staff members, including specialist teachers etc. to discuss any concerns you may have and to think together about ways to support you and your family. Come and have a chat with us! Appointments need to be booked prior to the sessions via email (see details on attached leaflet)

  • Carol Concert at St Illtyds

    The school choir will be performing at St Illtyd's Church on Wednesday 18th December at 7pm as part of the St Illtyd's Carol Concert. Please come and support this fantastic event! 

  • Christmas Jumper Week!

    As a special reward for all of this terms amazing work, the fantastic concerts and how super the children are Cadle will not just be having Christmas Jumper Day this year, we will be having Christmas Jumper week all of next week 16th-20th Decemeber! 

     

    Also a reminder it is Christmas Dinner on 19th December! 

  • Community Farm Calendars on Sale

    We have a few Swansea Community Farm Charity Calendars on sale in the office for £10. All proceeds go to the farm's mission of transforming lives by caring for animals, the environment and each other.
