• Year 6 Visit to UWTSD

  A big thank you to Pobl Group who have funded STEM sessions and a visit to UWTSD Waterfront Campus. Year 6 enjoyed an action packed day involving coding Sphero robots and visiting the 360 Immersion room to visit Mars and the International Space Station. 

  

• Harvest Donations

• ALN Time to Talk Sessions

  Please see the message below from the Swansea ALN Inclusion Team:

  In order to support parents and carers of children and young people who are presenting with difficulties, including the development of social communication and interaction skills, the specialist teachers are holding Time to Talk sessions. Parents and carers will have the opportunity to meet the specialist teachers next week (with sessions starting 19 Nov) , with a view to building parent partnerships and to enable discussion of any issues they may be experiencing. • New dates for Acorns Christmas Concert

  Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to change the date for the Acorns Christmas Concert. The new date will be Wednesday 11th December at 2pm. 

   

  The dates for the Acorns Nursery concert will be Monday 9th December at 9.30am and Thursday 12th December at 9.30am.

   

  More information will follow about Christmas concerts.

• Mrs Clement and Mrs Gurnsey present at Anti Racism Conference

  A big well done to Mrs Clement and Mrs Gurnsey who have been taking part in an anti racism project to help develop our approach as a proud anti-racist school. They recently presented at the Swansea Council Anti-Racism Conference informing the audience all about our journey so far. 

   

  

• Lee Trundle Visit

  A huge thank you to Lee Trundle who visited Cadle this week to take part in a Q and A with the Year 5/6 pupils. He answered lots of questions and then showed of his amazing football skills on the yard. The children and staff really enjoyed the session. Thank you Lee. 

  

• Diolch Pobl and Circus Eruption

  A huge thank you to Pobl Group and Circus Eruption for the donation of a box full of circus toys for us to use as a school. Before the summer Oaks B received circus skills training and they can now use this training to improve their circus skills. Diolch Pobl and Circus Eruption.
